Top law firm Sullivan & Cromwell to represent Trump in current legal issues


EXCLUSIVE: President Donald Trump He kept a lawyer from the top law firm Sullivan & Cromwell to represent him in his constant efforts of appeal in cases launched against him by District State Attorney Manhattan Alvin Bragg and a general lawyer in New York Letitia JamesFox News Digital found out.

The move comes after his original legal team joined his administration in the lead roles in cases.

The president will represent Sullivan Cromwell suppressing and partner Robert J. Giuffra Jr.

Giuffra has been in the company since 1989 after serving as an official of the law by the US Chief Judge of the Supreme Court William Rehnquist. Giuffra is currently focusing on securities, a criminal with white collar, responsibility for products, commercial, insurance, banking and tax disputes.

Trump will also represent Matthew Schwartz, a partner of a company that joined in 2007. Jeffrey Wall, another partner who served as an act of an American lawyer and claimed more than 30 cases in the US Supreme Court; James McDonald, a partner who served as an assistant American lawyer in the southern district of New York; and Morgan Ratker, a partner who has argued nine cases before the US Supreme Court, who served at the Office of the General Attorney at the Ministry of Justice.

Fox News Digital learned that Boris Epshteyn, Trump’s best legal advisor, continues his role as a higher advisor, coordinating the wide buning of legal fronts and things for the president.

“President Donald J. Trump’s appeal is important for the rule of the law, the reputation of New York as a global business, financial and legal center, as well as for the Presidency and all public officials,” Giuffra told Fox News Digital. “The Misuse of the Criminal Code by Manhattan yes to the goal of President Trump sets a dangerous precedent and we look forward to being rejected in the appeal.”

The change comes after the president eavesdropping on his former lawyers in cases in the lead roles in his administration.

Trump appointed his lawyer Todd Blanche, who was the deputy prosecutor and John Sauer for the United States Lawyer.

Emil Bove, also, Trump’s lawyer addressed to the lead role in the Ministry of Justice, performs the duties of Deputy Attorney General, but if Blanche confirms, Bove will be the main deputy deputy Attorney General.

Blanche, Sauer, Bove and Scharf successfully defended the president in the investigation of former special advisor Jack Smith on January 6, 2021 and allegedly interfering with the 2020 elections, as well as in his classified case.

Sauer claimed a case of presidential immunity before the US Supreme Court, led by the High Court to judge that the presidents have immunity for unofficial presidential acts.

The Smith classified case of the record was rejected in July 2024. The US District Court for Southern Florida District Judge Aileen Cannon, who ruled that Smith was illegally appointed by a special lawyer.

Smith accused Trump at the US District Court for Washington, DC, in his election case in 2020, but after Trump was elected president, Smith tried to dismiss the case. Judge Tanya Chutkan approved that request.

Both cases were rejected.

The new legal team will take over Trump’s complaints and in the case of Bragg’s James case.

Trump judged Judge Juan Merchan earlier in January for unconditional dismissal after being found guilty of charges of faking business records. Merchan did not sentence the president to prison, but did not say any sentence at all – without prison, fines or trial.

That sentence keeps Trump’s ability to complain about belief – which Sullivan & Cromwell will take over.

As for James’ case against Trump, New York Judge Arthur Engoron, after a weekly trial for a civic fraud without Junja, ruled that Trump and the accused were responsible for “permanent and repeated fraud”, “fake business records”, issuing false financial statements, ” “Conspiracy for forgery of false financial statements,” “Insurance Fraud” and “Conspiracy for committing fraud in insurance”.
