Sitanshu Kotak, new coach Team India, provided an update of veteran Mohammed Shami’s Fitness ahead of the third T20I against England. Sitanshu Kotak confirmed that Mohammed Shami was appropriate, but he added that the decision to include it would make it a team management.
The remarks of the remarks followed after Mohammed Shami missed the first two T20i in the current five -game series. The absence of Bowler veteran has caused concern about his fitness. Shami last played for India in the finals of the ODA 2023 World Cup in November, where men in blue suffered a heart defeat.

Speaking at a press conference on the eve of the third T20I between India and England, Sitanshu Kotak confirmed that Mohammed Shami was ready. However, the Kotak explained that the decision to play in the match would make a team management, not him.
“Yes, Shami is appropriate, but something about him or not playing, I’m not the one who can answer. The call to when he will play, the team administration will take over,” Kotak said.

Kotak said that Chief coach Gautam Gambhir and Captain Suryakumar will supervise and manage Shami’s work load on the eve of the champion trophy that starts on February 19. Kotak also stated that Shami’s fitness was not a problem.
“There is definitely a plan (for Shami) for incoming matches as well as ODA, but coach Gautam and obviously Surya will make a call. And fitness, it is definitely not a problem depending on how they plan to build this load,” Kotak added.
The team led by Suryakumar Yadav secured the victory of seven jokes at Eden Gardens in Chennai, followed by a victory with two lean in Chepauk in the next game. Arshdeep Singh was the only truly fast bowler in playing XI, and Hardik Pandya contributed with his bowling.
