Keyshawn Davis predicted in an interview that his four-time winner Andy Cruz will “lose” before he even gets to where he is. Despite losing to Cuban Olympic gold medalist Cruz in 2020 (4-0, 20 KOs), he says someone will beat him.

Cruz fights Omar Salcido (20-1, 14 KOs) tonight in a 10-round WBC lightweight title eliminator on Diego Pacheco vs. Steven Nelson at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Chelsea Ballroom, Las Vegas.
In the interview with Keyshawn (12-0, 8 KO) it seemed obvious He wants Cruz to lose; Maybe that pressures him to deal with the fans and the media now to fight him.

Cruz knocked out Antonio Moran in his last fight on August 3rd and looked strong in that fight. What he showed in that fight was more than enough power for anyone in the division, including Keyshawn. He landed a lot of punches on Moran, who broke him, and in the seventh he injured himself with a jab.
“Ten ounces and eight ounces is a big difference. He brought my name up and called me son. That f*** is funny to me. I know what’s going on with his team. This needs help. He needs a better team. I just don’t think he has respectable power.

“You’re crazy as hell if you think that’s going to work against a fighter like me. I feel like he was a phenomenal amateur, but he’s going to be an average pro. “He really wants to sit back, play with his jab and let somebody miss him and hit him. That’s a real fight. I just don’t see him doing that with me for 12 rounds. I’ll knock your **.
“Lomachenko has one more fight in him. Top Rank aside. Ok, I’ll try to go the Lomachenko route. If he doesn’t want to fight me. Ok, I’ll try to go the light skin [Gervonta Davis] Time.
Keyshawn has yet to defeat any notable fighters. He is protected by the best rank from his close call with Nahir Albright when he injured him. Davis’ best wins are against these fighters:
