Trump’s ICE racks up hundreds of arrests, including illegal immigrants arrested for horrific crimes


FIRST ON FOX: Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)in the early days of the Trump administration, he made 460 arrests of illegal immigrants, including those with criminal histories that include sexual assault, domestic violence, and drug and gun crimes.

Data obtained by Fox News Digital shows that between midnight on Jan. 21 and 9 a.m. on Jan. 22, in a 33-hour period, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) arrested over 460 aliens with criminal histories of sexual assault, robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, drugs and weapons, resisting arrest and domestic violence.

Agents arrested nationals of a number of countries including Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Senegal and Venezuela.

The arrests took place across the US, including Illinois, Utah, California, Minnesota, New York, Florida and Maryland.

On January 22, 2025, ICE-ERO News York arrested Camaro Denver Haye, a citizen of Jamaica. Haye was previously arrested by the New York City Police (NYPD) on 12/10/2024. for “promoting the sexual performance of a child under the age of 17 and possession of the sexual conduct of a child under the age of 16: possession/access View”. Meanwhile, ICE has released more than 420 detainees – requested by ICE be informed when the citizen is released from custody. Citizens have been arrested for crimes including murder, sexual assault, kidnapping, molestation and robbery.

Arrests include:

– Mexican citizen Jesus Perez arrested in Salt Lake City, accused of aggravated sexual abuse of a child.

– Honduran citizen Franklin Osorto-Cruz was convicted of drunk driving. He was arrested in New York.

– Jamaican national, Kamaro Denver Haye, arrested for “promoting sexual performance of a child under 17 and possession of sexual performance of a child under 16: possession/access to view.”

– Mexican citizen, Jesus Baltazar Mendoza, convicted of second degree assault on a child. He was arrested in St.

– Colombian citizen Andres Orjuela Parra, who was arrested in San Francisco. He was convicted of sexual penetration of a foreign object on an unconscious victim.

– Six illegal immigrants in Miami from Guatemala, with criminal histories including assault, child abuse, fraud, resisting arrest, DWI, trespassing and vandalism.

Meanwhile, Fox News’ Bill Melugin was on the ground in Boston, where the agents arrested several members of the MS-13 gang, Interpol red warrants and suspects of murder and rape.

The arrests come as the Trump administration is rapidly making good on its promise to launch a historic mass deportation operation, which it has said will focus primarily — but not exclusively — on threats to public safety.

On January 22, 2025, ICE-ERO New York City arrested Jose Roberto Rodriguez-Urbina, a 22-year-old citizen of El Salvador. This week, the administration took a series of moves to make that happen, including a series of executive orders from President Trump and subsequent moves by agencies within his government.

Fox News reported on Wednesday that Department of Homeland Security removed restrictions on expedited removal powers, a day after rescinding a Biden-era memo limiting where ICE could conduct enforcement operations.

“The teams are out as of today,” Homan said on “America’s Newsroom” on Tuesday. “We’ve instructed them to prioritize the public safety threats we’re looking for. We’ve been working on a list of targets.”

“Right at the door it’s threats to public safety, those who are in the country illegally who have been convicted, arrested for serious crimes,” he said. “But let me be clear. It’s not just threats to public safety that are going to be arrested, because in sanctuary cities we’re not allowed to get that threat to public safety in jail, which means we have to go into the neighborhood and find him.”
