US President Donald Trump kicked off his second term on Tuesday with technology initiatives, including key investments in artificial intelligence, while targeting immigration, environmental regulations and gender identity. He also pardoned more than 1,500 people who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021, including those convicted of assaulting police.
