Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the stock and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Taiwan, it gained 0.14%.
The best performers of the session were Les Enphants Co Ltd (TW: ), which rose 9.99% or 0.75 points to trade at 8.26 at the close. Meanwhile, Bionyms Corp (TW: ) added 9.93% or 5.60 points to end at 62.00 and Daxin Materials Corp (TW:) was up 7.89% or 16.50 points to trade at 225.50 at the close.
The worst performers of the session were Lemtech Holdings Co Ltd (TW: ), which fell 7.74% or 12.00 points to 143.00 at the close. Formosa Oilseed Processing Co Ltd (TW:) declined 7.11% or 3.50 points to end at 45.75 and Giantplus Technology Co Ltd (TW:) declined 6.48% or 0.95 points to 13.70.
Declining stocks outpaced rising stocks on the Taiwan Stock Exchange 0 to 0.
Crude oil for delivery in March fell 0.29% or 0.22 to $75.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for March delivery fell 0.18% or 0.14 to $79.15 a barrel, while February gold futures rose 0.34% or 9.41 to 2,768 .61 USD per troy ounce.
USD/TWD rose 0.44% to 32.78, while TWD/CNY was unchanged 0.40% to 0.22.
US dollar index futures rose 0.03% to 107.89.
