For many, Priority is the best league in the world – and for good reason. Once again at the halfway mark this year, we have a title fight, a murky play-off picture and a fierce battle to avoid relegation.
Even more excitement is expected among fans of second division clubs once the January transfer window is open for business. Running until 11pm on Monday 3 February, it is an opportunity for all 24 teams to strengthen their ranks ahead of the critical stages of the campaign.
I like it Leeds United and Sheffield United however, they are ready to be written off because of the championship title Burnley hot on their heels, they want to steal an automatic promotion spot for themselves.

Sunderland seems ready to return to the play-offs Regis Le Bris provided that they can maintain their promising start, while the surprise package Watford could still upset perennial contenders such as West Bromwich Albion for a place among the top six.
On the other end, Plymouth Argyle look doomed, so it may require inspired jobs over the next month, while they are beginners Oxford United and Portsmouth are among those fighting for survival in the championship after a test return to the second level.

Scott Parker’s Burnley have been the most active side in the Championship at the start of the window, with two arrivals in the first few days.
There is one familiar face in Ashley Barnes, who rejoined the club after his contract at Norwich expired. The Austrian international is something of a promotion specialist, so could be a handy addition to Parker’s side.
Another arrival was Danish-born Peruvian Oliver Sonne who joined Danish club Silkeborg in a deal worth around €3m (£2.5m). The full-back bolsters a Clarets defense that has conceded just nine goals in the Championship all season.

Ashley Barnes recently had his contract terminated by mutual consent as he sealed a return to former club Burnley, while Christian Fassnacht secured a move to Young Boys, who are currently struggling in the Swiss first division and the Champions League.
The form of the Canaries has been up and down so far, so they are halfway in the middle of the table. They are not a million miles away from a play-off spot and a fresh injection of talent into the squad could help them climb into the top six.
