Former ‘Bachelor’ star says ‘abuse’ in Hollywood prompted her to leave LA
But Fedotowsky-Manno doesn’t regret leaving Los Angeles behind forever.
“Girl” star shared insight into her decision to leave the West Coast for a quieter life with her husband and two children during an appearance on Savannah Chrisley’s “Unlocked” podcast on Tuesday.
Fedotowsky-Manno, 40, first rose to fame as a contestant on season 14 of “The Bachelor,” before returning a year later as the star of the sixth season of the popular dating competition series, “The Bachelorette.”

While her engagement to “Girl” winner Roberto Martinez didn’t last long, she later found love in the arms of radio and TV host Kevin Mann. The couple married in March 2017 and have two children.
“We lived in LA. We both worked in the entertainment industry — my husband is a radio host. … I worked in television at the Hallmark Channel until the day we left LA,” Fedotowsky-Manno told Chrisley.

“I told my agent, ‘I’m done. I don’t want to work in Hollywood anymore. I’m done with the industry. I want move to nashville with his family. I want to have a quiet little life.’ And that’s what we did.”
Chrisley was curious about what prompted the former TV star to leave the bright lights of Hollywood behind.
“There’s a lot of bullying in the entertainment industry, and I don’t think people see it,” Fedotowsky-Manno said. “It’s very harsh, and I just felt in a lot of different circumstances, just a lot of hate. … I didn’t care about all that.”

She added: “I thought, ‘I’m so over this. I’m so tired of it.’ I really wanted to get it out of my life, but when I moved, it kind of exists everywhere, it’s just that there’s always a social hierarchy in every circle.
“There’s a lot of abuse in the entertainment industry, and I don’t think people see it. It’s very cruel, and I’ve just felt it in a lot of different circumstances, just a lot of hate.”
Despite the inevitable “hierarchical” circles, the former reality star, who starred in the third season of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” admitted that her family loves Nashville very much. Still, she does have some regrets about leaving Los Angeles.
“Sometimes I drive around, especially in the fall, and I look at the trees, and I’m like, ‘Ahhh, it’s so beautiful here!'” I struggle with allergies pretty hard, so that’s something that makes me maybe not love it as much as I could. to love because allergies are crazy here.”

Chrisley agreed: “They’re totally crazy. They say, like, if you have local honey every morning . . .”
“Me,” she insisted. “I’m telling you…I’ve thrown so much money at this allergy problem. I’ve been doing everything from chiropractors, acupuncture, massage—I’m actually getting a facial lymphatic massage, which is different than my whole body, this weekend to see if that helps—I have red light therapy, saunas.
“I’ve been to multiple ENT doctors. I take allergy drops. I drink local honey. I have like these machines. I do sinus rinses.”
Manno said the only thing she hasn’t tried so far is surgery to correct a deviated septum.
