In the second inaugural speech, Trump will declare the return of America: the ‘Golden Age’

President-elect Donald Trump is scheduled to revisit the promise of a “golden age” of America in his inaugural address on Monday, new White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt told Fox News.

Trump will return to the White House on Monday, becoming only the second president in history to serve two non-consecutive terms.

“You’re going to hear President Trump talk about how we’re entering a golden age of America and how the hope of Americans can be restored to this great nation,” she told co-hosts Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino on a special weekend edition of the show “American newsroom“Sunday.

“You’re going to hear President Trump talk about the reality of the world we live in, the border invasion that has turned every state in this country into a border state. You’re going to hear him talk about the dire economic situation that many American households have found themselves in because of the policies of the Biden administration.” , she continued.

“Then you’ll hear him talk about his plan, his executive action on day one to solve these problems that have plagued the American people for the last four years, and I think after hearing his speech tomorrow, Americans will feel a renewed sense of hope and optimism, and you can already feel it in this city [Washington, D.C.] during this weekend.”

After taking the reins from President Biden, Trump will face a number of pressures — the economy, border security and global instability among them.

Trump plans to issue a series of executive orders to roll back some Biden-era policies on Day 1, while other plans could take some time, leaving Leavitt with the task of communicating to the American people how the administration’s plans will play out.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE FIRST DAY OF THE INAUGURATION OF PRESIDENT-ELECT DONALD TRUMP; WHAT TO EXPECT FROM MONDAY

“The American people should expect President Trump to follow through on many of the promises he made to them within the first 24 hours of retaking the Oval Office,” Leavitt said.

“Our policy team has worked diligently to craft these orders for him so that we can immediately close the southern border, revive our energy industry, reverse many of the disastrous executive orders of the Biden administration that Joe Biden signed on his first day four years ago, which led to increased cost of living and inflation in this great country, so we have a lot to say. It’s a big responsibility. We don’t want the American people to miss the details because each of these executive actions that President Trump is taking is monumental and will truly transform the way this government here in Washington, DC operates, how the bureaucracy operates and how it rips off the American taxpayer.”
