The restaurant hires a chef just to make the viral mozzarella sticks

One restaurant’s giant mozzarella sticks went so viral on TikTok that it hired a dedicated chef just to make the fried cheese appetizer.

Winchesterbased in Tenerife, Spain, first gained attention for its giant cheese sticks in May 2023, SWNS news agency reported.

Since then, the restaurant has hired a chef to prepare the offer. It goes through more than 200 pounds mozzarella cheese a week to recreate the viral meal.

The item is listed on The Winchester’s menu as “Giant Panko Mozzarella Sticks.” The dish is described as “3 huge mozzarella sticks coated with Panko breadcrumbs and served with your choice of sauce.”

These choices are either “chili, lime & garlic mayo”, “Jack Daniels BBQ”, “Sweet Chili Mayo”, and “Extra Hot Piri Piri” sauce.

The item is accompanied by a label indicating that it is “TikTok Famous.”

The people who initially released the mozzarella sticks told the news agency that the food alone justifies the price of a flight to the Spanish island, which is located off the coast of Africa.
