Man City in pole position sign a “commanding” miracle of 12 million pounds for Guardiola
Manchester City transfer window is getting into full swing, as they now appear to be frontrunners in the race to sign a “major” third defender this month, according to a new report.

Seeing the Blues surrender a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 against Brentford on Tuesday night only strengthened the case for City to bring in new players in what remains of this transfer window. Pep Guardiola the side have struggled in recent months and the City boss is now looking to add more quality to his side as they look to return to the top four.

The Blues are approaching three new reinforcements, with a defender Vitor Reis is now preparing to join City after the club reached a verbal agreement to sign the defender for a fee below £33m. It has now been reported by Fabrizio Romano Reis has left Brazil and is on his way to Englandwhere he will perform a medical examination and complete the transfer.
Another player that City is close to signing is the Lens defender Abdukodir Husanovand the club agreed to a £33.5 million transfer. The defender has allegedly already undergone medical examinations and Romano states that he has “no problem” with the deal and all the documents are ready, but the transfer was delayed because of the visa.
The third player is Omar Marmoushwith City now trying to sign the striker for a fee of £59m plus add-ons but Eintracht Frankfurt holding out for £67m. The Blues are confident they can find a deal in the next 48 hours.

The Premier League champions may not stop at three new signings, as according to Gianluca di Marzio, Man City is in the best position to sign Real Valladolid defender Juma Bach.
The Blues are not alone in their pursuit of the player, as Serie A champions Inter Milan are also interested and are thought to be the leading Italian team to sign the player. However, Di Marzio reports that City are pushing hard, making negotiations difficult for Inter.
The 18-year-old, who is at Valladolid on loan from AIK Freetong, has impressed in La Liga this season and if City sign the defender it could cost them as much as 12 million poundswith the Spanish side securing his permanent signing and then selling him for a profit.
Guardiola is looking to strengthen his options at the back, as John Stones, Nathan Ake, Rúben Dias, Manuel Akanji and Josko Guardiol have all struggled for consistent form and/or fitness this campaign.

City will have to be patient with Baha, but with football analyst Chencho Alonso calling him “commanding” early this season, the 6-foot-5 teenager could make an immediate impact. Alonso gave his take on Bach earlier this season: “He commanded and pushed forward, showing solid defensive concepts in movement and marking adjustments. He is very calm on the ball and plays simply.
“The next day I said that he would be called up to the first team in September, and on Saturday he was the starter.”
