Norwegian stocks rose at the close of trade; Oslo OBX rose 0.12% according to Investing.com

Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Oslo, it added 0.12% to hit a new all-time high.

The best performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:), which rose 7.85% or 0.17 points to trade at 2.27 at the close. Meanwhile, Yara International ASA (OL: ) added 3.18% or 10.10 points to 327.30 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL: ) was up 2.25% or 0.23 points to trade at 10.24 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Equinor ASA (OL:), which fell 2.48% or 7.40 points to 290.70 at the close. Tomra systems ASA (OL:) fell 2.35% or 3.40 points to end at 141.30 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL: ) traded down 2.05% or 2.30 points to 110.00.

On the Oslo Stock Exchange, rising stocks outnumbered falling ones from 140 to 128, and 33 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for delivery in March fell 0.79% or 0.61 to $76.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for March delivery fell 0.80% or 0.65 to $80.36 a barrel, while February gold futures rose 0.24% or 6.31 to 2,684 $.91 per troy ounce.

EUR/NOK rose 0.12% to 11.72, while USD/NOK fell 0.34% to 11.39.

US dollar index futures fell 0.59% to 109.16.
