“He has to represent his club and he loves his club, but I have to make decisions. I’ve already talked about how I make decisions. That’s right. Let’s go on, see the next game and like I said, I have to make a selection.”

Rashford is believed to be available for a transfer this month, but the high cost of such a deal has prompted his many suitors to look for a loan move. United are understood to be open to a temporary switch.

There is interest from the Premier League, with Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United named as suitors, but the most significant interest comes from continental Europe. AC Milan are among the leading candidates, and club official Zlatan Ibrahimović, Rashford’s former teammate at United, has publicly discussed his side’s interest in the deal.

However, it is believed that Rashford’s priority is to move to Barcelonawho recently were indicated that they would make an agreement after they released the required salary.
