Hospital Trip Lands wanted a Houston pimp in custody

AND Houston pimp who jumped bail during a trial 20 months ago that, even in his absence, resulted in a 75-year prison sentence for human trafficking, he is back in custody.

Thaddeus Allen, 36, had a warrant out for his arrest in April 2023 after he failed to appear at trial, according to then-Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg.

FOX 26 in Houston reported that Allen was back in custody after being admitted to a Houston hospital under an alias on New Year’s Eve. Investigators said Allen was in critical condition after overdosing on PCP and methamphetamine.

But it’s only Monday Harris County Sheriff’s Office The Violent Criminal Apprehension Team found Allen after receiving a tip.

“Ghost” is no longer “Ghost”. That was his nickname that he didn’t get as relevant because of his retirement to disappear into the night,” Andy Kahan of Houston Crime Stoppers told the station. “This guy was a bad, bad guy. I mean, if you’re looking for the poster child for human trafficking, forced prostitution, taking girls and turning them into traffickers, Thaddeus Allen would be No. 1.”

Houston Crime Stoppers did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for information about Sunday’s arrest.

Allen’s week-long trial began on April 10, and he appeared for the first five days.

But when the trial began on the sixth day, he did not appear for the closing arguments in his case.

Despite not being in the courthouse, the jury deliberated after hearing about Allen’s lengthy arrest record and found him guilty of human trafficking. In addition to human trafficking, Allen had pending charges of aggravated promotion of prostitution involving numerous women.

The jury imposed a sentence of 75 years in prison, half of which Allen will have to serve before being eligible for parole.

The district attorney’s office described Allen as a “habitual offender” with several felony convictions on his record, including evading police and burglary.

When he was charged with human trafficking and other charges, Allen was released from custody after posting $200,000 bail.

“He’s been in and out of jail. I guess all of a sudden he said, ‘You know, this just doesn’t look good for me,’ and he said, ‘I’m out. of here,'” Kahan told FOX 26 last week. “Crime Stoppers, we’ve put out a reward of up to $15,000 for any information and I’m trying to find out if it was one of our tips that led to his arrest. It’s a good day we finally got him back into custody.”

Kahan added that the sheriff’s office captured Allen and that he remained in custody at the hospital. Once released, detectives told the station, Allen will go straight to prison.
