Trump trolled Kamala by faking a conversation with Obama: ‘I knew you would win’

President-elect Donald Trump trolled his political opponents by posting a clip of his conversation with former President Barack Obama on his Truth Social account, in which the former president told Trump “I knew you were going to win.”

The video shows Trump and Obama trash Vice President Kamala Harris’ failed presidential campaign at former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral, with what appears to be AI-generated dialogue that mimics the two’s voices.

The “conversation” begins after Obama takes his seat next to Trump, and the two presidents exchange kind words while a funeral hymn is sung in the background.

Soon, the debate is turning to Trump’s victory over Harris in the 2024 presidential campaign.

“I knew you were going to win,” Obama said in the video.

“Come on,” Trump replied, “Anyone could beat her.”

The Internet was abuzz with speculation over what Trump and Obama actually talked about since the video of the two chatting amicably at Carter’s funeral on January 9 sent social media into a frenzy.

“It’s a little weird for Obama, isn’t it? To go from ‘this guy is the future Hitler’ to ‘oh man, cool story, the future Hitler!'” Daily show host Desi Lydic said in a segment mocking the incident.

“It seemed very friendly,” Trump told Fox News’ Peter Doocy at a news conference at Mar-a-Lago after the funeral. “Dude, they seem like two people who like each other, and we probably like each other… I don’t know, we just got along.”

In the spoof video, Obama criticized Biden for stubbornly running for a second term, before eventually being forced out of the race after a disastrous performance in the June 2024 debate.

“He just didn’t want to leave, I did what I could to help [Kamala]she was terrible,” Obama told a smiling Trump.

The video continues with the president-elect telling Obama that he realized Hillary Clinton still “hates” and will “never forgive” him, before cutting to a stone-faced HRC.

The skit ends with the two presidents planning a meeting when Kamala Harris and her second husband Doug Emhoff enter the church and take their places in the row in front of them.

“Look at that, she won’t even look at me,” Obama said.

Trump is known to use social media to goad his political opponents. Trump trolled Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau by releasing a map that showed Canada as part of the United States with the caption “Oh Canada!” to your Truth Social account on Tuesday January 7th.
