Aston Villa now they are closing in on a deal to sign another new face Unai Emery this January, it was revealed, as the Midlands side look to push their way up Premier League in the second half of the campaign.

Currently eighth in the Premier League after two wins in their last five games, Aston Villa already showed their intentions for a significant job in January.
The Villans are on the verge of parting ways with winger Jaden Philogene joined Ipswich Town in a deal worth more than £20m in the coming days after struggling in the months since his summer move to Villa Park.
To replace him, Emery’s side have identified Donyell Malen as the perfect man, with the Borussia Dortmund speedster free to leave Germany this winter and the two clubs in talks over a potential deal. Sky Sports revealed that there is a difference in the asking price, with Villa are only offering £21m, while Dortmund are still waiting for £25m.
On the other side of the field, reports in Turkey claim that Aston Villa have agreed a contract to sign Yasin Ozcanamid claims it will arrive in the Midlands next week. It has also been suggested that the club willing to pay Oscar Mingueza’s release clause in the coming days, amounting to £17m.
There will be exits, too Robin Olsen and John Duran among those mooted for a move away this month, but the club are clearly continuing to try and strengthen as they look to challenge on multiple fronts for the remainder of the campaign and beyond.

Aston Villa now appear to be closing in on another new signing at the top of the Ozcan, with a report from Sky Sports man Sacha Tavolieri revealing that The Villans are finalizing a deal with Caen to sign teenage gem Tidiam Gomis.

A versatile forward who can play across the front line, the Frenchman has impressed in his limited senior opportunities to date, and is out of contract with SM Caen at the end of the campaign.
As a result, he was made available and Aston Villa swung at the 18-year-old. According to the report, he will pen a five-year deal at Villa Park but will spend the rest of the season on loan at Caen, meaning the Villa Park faithful will have to wait until at least next season to see their new talent in burgundy and blue.

Although not yet official, the report claims that the two sides are “currently working out the final details” as they look to fend off interest from across Europe in order to secure the talented striker.
He is unlikely to affect other deals in January, given his return to France on loan, but could prove to be another astute youngster to sign for the Midlands outfit as they continue to hunt for bargains in the transfer window.
