Aston Villa are now finalizing a deal to sign another new player for Emery


Aston Villa now they are closing in on a deal to sign another new face Unai Emery this January, it was revealed, as the Midlands side look to push their way up Premier League in the second half of the campaign.

Currently eighth in the Premier League after two wins in their last five games, Aston Villa already showed their intentions for a significant job in January.

The Villans are on the verge of parting ways with winger Jaden Philogene joined Ipswich Town in a deal worth more than £20m in the coming days after struggling in the months since his summer move to Villa Park.

To replace him, Emery’s side have identified Donyell Malen as the perfect man, with the Borussia Dortmund speedster free to leave Germany this winter and the two clubs in talks over a potential deal. Sky Sports revealed that there is a difference in the asking price, with Villa are only offering £21m, while Dortmund are still waiting for £25m.

On the other side of the field, reports in Turkey claim that Aston Villa have agreed a contract to sign Yasin Ozcanamid claims it will arrive in the Midlands next week. It has also been suggested that the club willing to pay Oscar Mingueza’s release clause in the coming days, amounting to £17m.

There will be exits, too Robin Olsen and John Duran among those mooted for a move away this month, but the club are clearly continuing to try and strengthen as they look to challenge on multiple fronts for the remainder of the campaign and beyond.

He is unlikely to affect other deals in January, given his return to France on loan, but could prove to be another astute youngster to sign for the Midlands outfit as they continue to hunt for bargains in the transfer window.
