Cboe Global Markets Closes U.S. Markets Jan. 9 in Honor of Former President Jimmy Carter’s National Day of Mourning By Investing.com

CHICAGO, December 30, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Cboe Global Markets (NYSE:), Inc. (Cboe: CBOE), the world’s leading derivatives and securities exchange network, today announced its OUR stock and options exchanges, along with Cboe Futures Exchangeit will close Thursday, January 9, 2025on the occasion of the National Day of Mourning in honor of the former president Jimmy Carter.

In addition, the Cboe held a minute of silence Chicago trading floor on 8:20 a.m. Central Time (CT) today, in memory of the former president.

Cboe stock exchanges are closed for trading during all sessions (early, regular and after-hours) on January 9 include Cboe BYX exchange, BZX exchange, EDGA exchange and EDGX exchange.

Cboe options exchanges are closed for trading during regular business hours of the day January 9 include Cboe stock options, BZX Options Exchange, C2 Options Exchangeand EDGX Options Exchange. Global trading hours for Cboe stock options will be open.

Cboe Futures Exchange ( CFE (EBR:)) will be closed for trading during regular business hours of the day January 9while Global Trading Hours will be open.

The Cboe Digital Exchange will be open for trading and operating as usual January 9.
