Daily Show mocks Obama laughing with ‘future Hitler’ Trump during Carter’s funeral
“The Daily Show” mocked former President Obama and President-elect Donald Trump’s friendly interactions Thursday at former President Jimmy Carter’s state funeral, given the intense rhetoric about Trump from Obama and other political opponents.
“The seating arrangement is so awkward that it probably made them ask, ‘Is there still room in that coffin?’ she said of Trump, Obama and other former presidents sitting near each other during the state funeral President Jimmy Carter in Washington, DC
Considering the viral momentum where Trump and Obama spoke at length and even appeared to laugh, she said in a clip flagged by Mediaite, “It’s a little weird for Obama, isn’t it? To go from ‘this guy is the future Hitler’ to ‘oh man, cool talk, future Hitler!'”

“It seemed pretty awkward that everyone had to sit next to Donald Trump,” Lysic said. “Just think about the history there.”
Seemingly friendly interactions between Trump and Obama went viral after the two sat next to each other during a state funeral.
At one point, Vice President Kamala Harris turned to see the two having a hearty chat, before turning to the front, looking stone-faced.
“I don’t know if that funeral music was for Carter or for her. Kamala looked like me when someone speaks behind me in the cinema,” she said.

“She didn’t look happy sitting so close to Donald Trump,” the comedian said. “She spent the rest of the day flipping through that funeral program as if she were going to find 44 electoral votes.”
Trump and Obama were surrounded by other dignitaries, including former President George W. Bush, former Vice President Mike Pence, former President Bill Clintonformer First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, as well as President Biden and Harris.
Obama campaigned fiercely against Trump, calling him a threat to American democracy and the embodiment of “our worst impulses unleashed,” among other attacks.
