The fourth round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup is set to take place over the weekend as teams from the Women’s Super League (WSL) prepare to make their debut in the tournament.
All 12 WSL sides will now take to the pitch as 32 clubs prepare to battle it out for a place in the last 16 of the FA Cup. Teams who make it through to the fifth round will take home £54,000, with the top prize for the winners of the competition totaling £430,000.

Manchester United took home the crown in 2024, after a 4-0 thrashing of Tottenham Hotspur was enough to clinch victory under the Wembley Stadium canopy. The win marked United’s first silverware since the club’s inception in 2018.
Arsenal have long been the historic giants of the FA Cup, winning the competition a total of 14 times. Despite the club’s domestic dominance, the Gunners last won silverware nine years ago in 2015/16 when they defeated Chelsea 1-0.
Chelsea and Manchester City have been sharing the domestic glory since Arsenal’s dominance began to wane. The Cityzens have taken home the gold in three seasons since then, with Chelsea winning it on four occasions.
The first matches of the upcoming fourth round will be played on Saturday 11 January between Brighton & Hove Albion and Durham, and Manchester United and West Bromwich Albion. The rest of the matches will be played on Sunday, January 12.

The fourth round will host some exciting matches.
In two West London derbies, Fulham host title contenders London City Lionesses and Chelsea face Charlton Athletic. Four Premier League sides will meet, as Everton host Tottenham and West Ham United welcome Liverpool at home.
Family ties will be put to the test as Manchester United take on West Bromwich Albion, while Evie Rabjohn’s side face her younger sister Olivia.
Ipswich Town will also be looking for a miracle against Man City and Bristol City will need to be at their best if they are to see off Arsenal in north London.

The FA has confirmed that eight of the 16 matches will be streamed live for viewing via FA Player and the new competition YouTube channel.
