Varun Aaron announced his retirement from all forms of the game on Friday, January 10, with a heartfelt post on his Instagram profile. He hit the headlines by hitting 153 kmph during the 2010-11 Vijay Hazare Trophy final. against Gujarat, showing his raw pace.
Unfortunately, the Indian pacer’s career was plagued by constant injuries, as he was able to represent the country in a total of 18 international matches, finishing with just 29 wickets. However, Aaron played regular domestic cricket for Jharkhand.

But injuries forced Varun Aaron to announce his retirement from red cricket last February and now he has finally given up on all forms of the game. The fast bowler played his last match for Jharkhand against Goa in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25. January 10.
