Temporary CEO of Kennedy Center Richard Grenell challenged Fierstein’s accusation of X, calling it fiction.

He also noted that in decades, he also fought for equality and proudly served as the first open Gay US official of the US cabinet during the first Trump administration, as an acting director of the National Intelligence Service.
