Pep Guardiola says no one in Manchester City, including himself, deserves a bonus after the fight season.
FIFA announced this week that the winners of the Reverted Club World Cup will bring home £ 97 million, assuming they have won in their group stage matches.
City is one of the teams participating in the United States, and the competition started on June 15th, but asked if the manager or players would get a share of it, Guardiola said: “We do not deserve this this season. We do not deserve a bonus this season.
“If we go there and win, it’s for the club. Managers, staff, staff in the back, players; we do not deserve [a bonus]. Not even an hour … “
Bournemouth cow huge for the city
City hopes that they will win the fifth consecutive Premier League title a few weeks ago, and are currently in fifth place, located in the fight for the completion of the Champions League.
Their remaining chance for silver accessories this season is in FA Cup and travel to Bournemouth on Sunday in the quarterfinals.
In November, City lost 2-1 at Vitality Stadium, and Guardiola expects another difficult game against a team playing with great intensity under Andona Irah.
“They have a special way of playing and it works with the players and the ideas they have,” said the former Barcelona chief. “Every team plays in a certain way and they do it really well. Other teams are more direct and other teams want more crossings.”
