King Charles III experienced temporary side effects from his liquid cancer treatment, which on Thursday morning demanded a brief stay at the observation hospital, according to Buckingham Palace.
“After the constant medical treatment of cancer was scheduled this morning, the king experienced temporary side effects that required a short period of observation in the hospital,” the palace said.

The statement added: “The afternoon engagement of his Majesty were delayed. His Majesty has now returned to Clarence House and as a precautionary measure, acting on medical advice, tomorrow’s program for tomorrow’s diary will also be transferred. His Majesty would like to send his apology to anyone who may be unpleasant or disappointed.
