The top federal prosecutor at Manhattan resigned on Thursday fifth Directive of the Ministry of Justice to throw a criminal bribe in her office against the Mayor of New York Eric Adams.
Danielle Sassoon, an acting of an American lawyer in the southern district of New York, did not mention the Adams case in her two -sentence resignation letter, NBC News reported, citing senior officials.
The criminal case against Adams has not been rejected since Thursday afternoon.
In September, Adams was charged with a large jury at the US District Court at Manhattan on the charges of relating to alleged bribe, fraud and the campaign contribution scheme.
