Guard-Punjab Kings humiliate Rishabh Pant after the old ‘tension’ of the remarks return to persecute him
Punjab Kings (PBKS) took a murder in Rishabh Pant after their dominant victory over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 13th game of the IPL 2025 season. After the victory, the franchise praised Captain Shreyas Iyer on the social media, and at the same time tiked LSG Skipper Pant.

Punjab Kings shared a post on social media (previously known as Twitter), digging into Rishabh Pant. The post contained Skipper PBKS Shreyas Iyer, but the inscription attracted the most attention, referring to the pre-season remarks of PANT o IPL 2025 mega auction.
“The tension on the auction me hi khatm ho gayi thi (tension ended in auction),” the inscription wrote.

Old remarks of Rishabh Panto become viral after Lucknow’s defeat
Before the IPL 2025 season, Rishabh Panta admitted that his biggest concern during the auction was whether Punjab Kings to bid for him. Panta stated that PBKS, who had the biggest purse, could successfully acquire it.
“I only had one tension, it was a Punjab (laughs). They had the highest purse. When Shreyas went to Punjab, I felt I could reach LSG. There was a possibility. But in the end, with auction, so I just thought I was going to wait and look at the finger cover.”
Punjab Kings entered the auction of the IPL 2025 with the highest available budget of 110.5 crowns. They decided to sign Shreyas Iyer for 26.75 crowns. In the meantime, Lucknow Super Giants went out to secure a pant, which has passed recorded from 27 crowns, which is the highest signature in the history of IPL auction.
The Kings of Punjabs climbed second place in the table of points
Punjab kings were ease of the goal of 172 running. Prabhsimran Singh broke 69 racing of 34 balls, hitting nine borders and three six. Captain Shreyas Iyer anchored Inings with an undefeated 52 off 30 delivery, including three four and four sixths. They finished the chase in just 16.2 additions.
