Claudio Echeverri described as one of South America’s “best talents” after ending Etihad Switch
Manchester City Director Txiki Begiristain believes Claudio Echeverri is one of the “best talents to appear from South America in recent years.”
Echeverri finally joined the City Detachment after completing his magic with the Boyhood Club River Plate.
The Premier League firsts signed a 19-year-old in January 2024, but allowed him to go on loan to River until last month.
And the club has a lot of hopes for an attacking midfielder, who shone for Argentina at the South America championship under the age of 20.

‘We wanted to become a Manchester City player’
Begiristain said on the official website of the club: “Claudio is one of the best talents to appear from South America in recent years.
“We knew as soon as we watched him playing, we wanted to become a Manchester City player.
“All of the natural elements are there – his touch, technique, the eye for the goal and ability of dribbling. Our job is now to take over these traits and shape Claudio in world class players.
“We’ll provide him with everything he needs to get the best he can be. If he works hard, we listen to PEP [Guardiola] And she does absolutely everything, I see no reason why he can’t become a top player. “
Echeverri is eligible for the Premier League action
Echeverri has scored 48 appearances for River, scoring four times and securing eight assists.
Now it is eligible for playing for City by the end of this season Premier League.

“Football was my life, and my dream was to play for one of the best teams in Europe. Today I am closer to that dream.
“Manchester City is one of the best teams in the world. Not only are they winning trophies, but they play the game so beautiful. They are an example to everyone – they show people how to play football in the best way.
“Being a part of this team and culture here in City – and use it as my basis for the development of my game – something I’m really excited about.
“My family and I are so proud to be here. My focus is now on hard work in training to show a manager and his staff I’m good enough to be part of this team. “
