Hollywood legend dies at the age of 97


Oscar -winning American actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa were found dead at their home in Santa Feu, New Mexico, according to reports.

In a career that has lasted more than six decades, he has received two academy awards, two Bafta, four Golden Globes and a screen prize for screens.

The statement of Santa Fe County Santa in Novi Mexico says: “We can confirm that both Gene Hackman and his wife found the deceased in their residence on Sunset Trail on Wednesday afternoon.

“This is an active investigation – however, at this point we do not believe that the bad game was a factor.”

Hackman won the best actor Oscar for his role as Jimmy “Popeye” Doyle in the 1971 William Friedkin thriller, French Connection, and another for the best side actor to play Little Billa Daggetta in Western Film Clint Eastwood, UNFORGIVEK.

His other roles nominated for an Oscar were in the 1967 Bonnie and Clyde movie, like Buck Barrow, in the 1970s, I never sang for my father, and as an agent in Mississippi Burning (1988).

Santa Fe Adan Mendoza Sheriff confirmed the news to the local media just after midnight on Wednesday that the couple had died, along with their dog.

Hackman was 95 and his wife 63.

Mr. Mendoza said in an interview that there were no immediate indications of the ball game.

But he did not give the cause of death, nor did he say when the couple may have died.

“All I can say is that in the middle of a preliminary investigation into death, waiting for the approval of the search warrant.”

A lot of celebrated actor Hackman played more than 100 rules, including Lex Luthor in the superman films in the 1970s and 1980s.

He also starred in the Runaway jury and preservation hit, as well as Wes Anderson’s the Royal Tenenbaums.

His last appearance on the big screen came as Monroe Cole at Welcome to Mooseport in 2004.
