Danish shares fall at the close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 2.12% Investing.com
Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, it lost 2.12 percent.
The best performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE: ), which increased 3.05% or 15.50 points to 524.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas wind Systems A/S (CSE: ) added 2.20% or 2.10 points to end at 95.50 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE: ) was up 1.53% or 3.20 points to 212.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ), which decreased 4.90% or 36.00 points to 699.00 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE: ) declined 4.69% or 62.50 points to end at 1,269.50 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/SB (CSE: ) declined 3.06% or 335.00 points to 10,625 ,00.
Declining stocks outnumbered advancing stocks on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 44, with 17 ending unchanged.
Crude oil for delivery in March rose 2.20% or 1.67 to $77.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for March delivery rose 1.87% or 1.49 to $81.25 a barrel, while February gold futures fell 1.08% or 29.34 to 2,685.66 dollars per troy ounce.
USD/DKK rose 0.33% to 7.31, while EUR/DKK was unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
US dollar index futures rose 0.24% to 109.75.
