The fire raging through Los Angeles County sounded “like a war zone,” according to one resident.
People at an evacuation center in Pasadena also described watching flames engulf their neighborhood as they quickly fled Altadena, where the Eaton fire was raging.
At least five fires are active in the county and neighboring regions.
