The Senator of Western Virginia Jim Justice wants NCAA clearly explaining ‘the female locker room is only for women’
EXCLUSIVE: Senator Western Virginia Jim Justice and more than half a dozen GOP Senator seek clarification from Ncaa About its policy that enables biological males in the women’s locker rooms, saying Fox News Digital that the organization must clearly say that the “female locker room is intended only for women.”

Justice, who is a women’s basketball coach at Greenbrier East High School in Lewisburg, Western Virginia, has also trained boys and girls basketball since he was a governor of Western Virginia, explained Fox News Digital that he would “always” work to ensure protected athletes.
“I am a coach and I know that the last thing every athlete needs to distract or care for his own safety or privacy while in the locker room,” Justice told Fox News Digital. “I really believe that NCAA has made the right move after the command of President Trump, but let’s be clear that the female locker room is only for women.”

Justice added: “I will always work to ensure that women athletes, such as those I train back to Western Virginia, feel safe as they change in locker rooms and compete in athletic events.”
A letter of justice sent on Monday was also signed by SENS. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., Shelley Moore Capito, Rw.va, Mike Crapo, R-IDAHO, Jim Banks, R-Ind., James Risch, R-Idaho, Mike Lee, R-Utah and James Lankford, R-Okla.

“The new NCAA policy makes it clear that biological students may not compete in the women’s team. We could no longer support this important change in politics,” Justice said. “NCAA policy guarantees that biological athletes who practice with athletes” will get all other benefits applicable to students who otherwise meet the conditions for practice. ”
Fox News Digital addressed NCAA and for comment and did not immediately get an answer.
Justice said that NCAA has “the opportunity to clarify that these guarantees do not include access to the facilities that would undermine the privacy and safety of athletes-after a female locker room or other spaces for which the president’s order was to be protected.”
Justice requires NCAA “considering the addition of language to its policy, which explicitly scores biological male athletes from space only for women and consider adopting additional privacy protection for women and girls in sports.”

Justice, however, welcomed the NCAA policy that defined “*gender assigned to birth” as male or female labeling that doctors assign infants at birth, which is marked in the birth record.
“Publicly, NCAA has confirmed that biological athletes for men cannot compete in a women’s team with modified gender leaves or other documentaries,” Justice wrote. “The public view of the NCAA is commendable to this issue, and his policy could go a step further and explicitly state that gender leaves have been forbidden.”
