Liverpool confirmed that they had paid a total of £ 9.6 million regarding the departure of Jurgen Klopp from the club last summer.
Klopp surprisingly stepped down from the role of managers at the end of the 2023/24 season, two years before his contract expired, while complaining about the mental fatigue he came from at the age of nine.

The sum contributed to the loss before taxation of £ 57 million for Liverpoolwho paid the price for the failure of the Champions League to reach the 2023/24 season. Playing in the Europa League alone has brought a drop in media revenue in the amount of £ 38 million.
