On Friday, March 14, at 9:30 a.m., Delhi Capitals (DC) officially announced the Star India National Crime, a comprehensive Axar Patel as their new captain on the eve of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
The Battle of Captain Delhi Capitals (DC) was between Axar Patel and KL Rahula and eventually the star of the All-Rounder was elected a new skipper of the franchise.

Axar Patel will be replaced by Rishabh Pant as DC skipper after the franchise released the counterpiece and failed to re-acquire it at the owners.
The comprehensive was the superior delax of Delhi on the eve of the IPL 2025 auction because it was retained for a whopping 16.5 runes, together with Kuldeep Yadav (Rs. 13.25 Crowns), Tristan Stubbs (Rs. 10 Crowns) and Abishek Porel – (RS. 4 KOR). He was also the deputy Rishabh Panto IPL 2024, and led the team in one match.
Speaking of KL Rahul, he was bought by Delhi Capitals for a whopping 14 rune Rude after leaving Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), where he served as a skipper and had a decent success.
