Why did Google Maps rename the Gulf of Mexican?


The Gulf of Mexico is renamed the Bay of the Gulf on Google Maps in the United States.

This comes after President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to rename the water body he has bordered on the US, Cuba and Mexico. This meant that the US government agencies had to change it, but other countries and companies did not have to follow the lawsuit. So why did Google make a switch?
