Travis Kelce: Kansas City Chiefs GM Brett Veach expects to “fired” a solid end to return to NFL | next season NFL News

Brett Veach Director General Kansas City Chief revealed that he was “fired” in the tight regions of Kelce to continue his NFL career and expect him to see him returning next season.
Kelce said earlier this month that he would “last for a while” before deciding whether to withdraw from the NFL, after the defeat of Super Bowl to Philadelphia Eagles.
The 35-year-old said before that loss that he was not planning to call him from NFL soon, and Kelce was still in accordance with the contract.
Veach spoke with reporters at NFL Combine in Indianapolis, where coaches and scouts of NFL travel a year to evaluate top collegial talent, where he confirmed that he expects Kelce to return next season.
“How we left at the end of the season is that he was fired,” Veach said. “You still think he has that fire and a desire to play.
“As far as I’m concerned, there is no deadline (to commit to play next season). I think we left him as he would come back.”
Main coach Andy Reid added: “We had the opportunity to talk before they left. It [retiring] is to Travis. At this point, it’s’ to get out of town. They played a lot of football here. So, step down, then we will talk. “”
In the regular season of 2024, Kelce made 97 admission for 823 yards, and the lowest total amount of 2014, after he recorded seven consecutive years from 1,000 yards in the period from 2016 to 22.
What did Kelce say before about his future?
35-year-old spoke openly about his future during the episode New heightsPodcast on which he appears with his brother – and the former NFL star – Jason Kelce.
“I know everyone wants to know if I’m playing next year or not. And right now, I’m just hitting down the road,” Kelce said. “I throw out everything I can down the road and I do not make any crazy decisions.
“Currently, the biggest thing is just to be there for my teammates and be there for your coaches, realizing that there is a lot that goes into that thing.”
Kelce, whose profile has grown significantly since he began to come out with Popstar Taylor Swift 2023, had previously admitted that the incredible success of the chiefs had taken a toll on him in the last seasons.
He said: “I was lucky in the last five to six years, I have played more football than anyone and this is because of the people who are in that building and the fact that we continue to go to these AFC Championships and these super bowls.
“This means that I play an additional three games more than everyone else in the whole league. And it’s a lot of wear on your body. And a lot of time spent in the building focusing on your craft, focusing on the task at hand, every challenge you set for yourself.
“And this procedure can be arduous. It can weigh you. It can make you better and can drive you crazy at the same time.
“And right now, it’s one of those things in which this year has somehow driven me crazy. And I think it happens while you somehow leave for nine careers.”
