Senator Cramer detects a fall that caused seizure, bleeding in the brain

“As I walked around the hill to the dock, I stepped on the ice and apparently fell, hitting me on the back of my head,” he wrote on Facebook.

He was diagnosed with a seizure, bleeding in the brain and a brain earthquake, adding: “The wound on my head would not stop watering, so the doctor struck a few staples on the cleft and confessed me.”
Cramer described the “pretty bad headache” the next day, but said the brain bleeds improved.

“Doctors prefer to rest a little while before I get back to DC, so I don’t know exactly when it will happen. It will be day by day this week, but I’m ready to come back quickly if events require it,” He wrote.
There were photos of bloody snow and head with staples applied to the wound.

Cramer is 64 years old.
A Republican in northern Dakota was first elected to the Senate in 2018 and re -elected in 2024. Previously, he served in the House of Representatives.
