Rubio says Hamas must be ‘eradicated’, throwing a truce in doubt – National

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio Sunday was fully approved Israelites Conflict of the target in Gauze The comic book, saying that Hamas “must be eradicated” and throwing a trembling truck on further doubt because conversations about his second phase are yet to start.
Rubio met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the beginning of the regional tour, where he is likely to face a return to a return to Arab leaders because of US President Donald Trump’s proposal to transfer the Palestinian population from Gaza and the remodeling of IT under US ownership.
Netanyahu greeted the plan and said that he and Trump had a “joint strategy” for Gaza. With the eyes of Trump, he said that “the door of hell would be open” if Hamas would not let the dozens of the remaining hostages abducted in the attack of militant groups on the southern Israel on October 7, 2023, which launched a 16-month conflict.
The first phase of fire breaks should end in two weeks and the second phase is yet to be negotiated, although the conversations should have started two weeks ago. In the second phase, Hamas would let the dozens of remaining hostages replace for multiple Palestinian prisoners, permanent truce and withdrawal of Israeli forces
Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, told Fox News that “the second phase will absolutely start” and that he is “very productive” on Sunday with Netanyahu and Officers from Egypt and Qatar, who serve as intermediaries, about continuous conversations this week. He also said that the hostages to be published are including 19 Israeli soldiers and “we believe that everyone is alive.”
Netanyahu’s office said the Israeli security cabinet would meet on Monday to talk about the second phase. Netanyahu also sent negotiators to go to Cairo on Monday to discuss the further implementation of the first phase.
Palestinians reject Trump’s movement plan as they return to Gaza
Rubio said that Hamas could not continue as a military or government force.
“As long as it is a force that can manage or as a force that can manage or as a force that can threaten to use violence, peace becomes impossible,” he said. “It must be eradicated.”
Hamas again confirmed control of Gaza when the truce passed last month despite the overcrowding of great losses.
Rubio was also supposed to visit the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, political heavy weights in the region.
In the meantime, the Israeli army announced that on Sunday, she performed an air attack on the people who approached their forces in southern Gaza. The HAMAS Interior Ministry announced that the strike was killed by three police officers, while providing truck entry to help near Rafah on the Egyptian border.
Continued conflict could perish hostage
This week marks 500 days of conflict. Netanyahu signaled a willingness to continue the fight after the current phase of the tribute, although it could be a death penalty for other hostages.

Netanyahu offered Hamas the opportunity to surrender and send his best leaders to exile. Hamas rejected the scenario and insisted on the Palestinian rule. Spokesman Abdul Latif al-Qanoou said Associated Press that the group accepts the Government of the Palestinian Unity or the Technocratic Committee of Gaza.
Last week, Hamas threatened to hold hostages this weekend, because Netanyahu has yet to be approved by the entry of mobile homes and heavy machinery in Gaza, as required by an agreement on a tribute. The Israeli official said, provided anonymity in accordance with the regulations that this issue would be discussed in the coming days, and Israel coordinated with the United States.
In the second sign of the closure of the row, the Israeli Ministry of Defense said it had received a shipment of 2,000 kilograms (900 kilograms) of MK-84 Munition from the United States. The Bidana administration paused last year with a shipment of such bombs for concern about civilian victims in Gaza.

‘If someone has a better plan … it’s great’
In an interview last week, he Rubio indicated that Trump’s Gaza proposal partly aimed at putting pressure on the Arab states to make their own post -confessional plan that would be acceptable to Israel.
Rubio seems to have also suggested that Arab countries send troops to fight Hamas.
“If someone has a better plan, and hopefully they will do it, if Arab countries have a better plan, that’s great,” Rubija said on Thursday at Clay and Buck.
But “Hamas has a weapon,” he added. “Someone has to deal with these guys. It won’t be US soldiers. And if countries in the region can’t figure it out, then Israel will have to do it.”
Rubio was not supposed to meet with Palestinians on his journey to the Middle East.
Arabs have limited capabilities
For Arab leaders, facilitating the mass expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza or the fight against Palestinian militants on behalf of Israel are scenarios of nightmares that would bring fierce domestic criticism and potentially destabilized the already unstable region.
Egypt will host the Arab Summit on February 27 and cooperate with other countries on a counterprotion that would allow gauze to renew without removing its population. Human rights groups say that the expulsion of Palestinians would probably violate international law.
Egypt warned that every massive influx of Palestinians from Gaza would undermine their peace contract for almost half a century with Israel, the cornerstone of the US influence in the region.
The Israeli army withdraws from the central gauze, leaves behind a trace of destruction
The Arab and Muslim countries conditioned any support to the post -Confelić Gazi on the return of Palestinian management through the statehood in Gaza, the western coast and eastern Jerusalem, the territories that Israel seized in the Central East in 1967.
Israel excluded the Palestinian state and every role in Gaza for the Palestinian administration that supported Westerners, whose forces were thrown out when Hamas seized there power in 2007.
Rubio to visit regional heavy weights
Uae and Saudi Arabia rejected any massive displacement of Palestinians and would be key to any regional response.
UAE was the driving force of Abraham’s agreements in 2020. In which four Arab countries – Bahrain, UAE, Morocco and Sudan – normalized relations with Israel during Trump’s previous term. Trump hopes to expand agreements to include Saudi Arabia, which potentially offer closer to US defense relationships, but the kingdom said it would not normalize relations with Israel without a path to the Palestinian state.
Rubio will not visit Egypt or Jordan, close us allies in peace with Israel who refused to accept any influx of Palestinian refugees. Trump suggested that he could reduce our help if they did not adhere to them, which could be devastating for their economy.
Rubio also skips Qatar.
