Police footage Bodycam shows the moment the clerks used the Capybar costume to make drug raids in Peru Lima’s capital.
The Escuadron Verde (Green Squad) police group is a specialized unit of Peruvian national police that often disguises its agents into a fantastic dress during a ceremony such as Valentine’s Day, Witch Night and Christmas.
The head of the unit, Col Pedro Rojas, said, “On this occasion, Valentine’s Day, Lover Day, we tried to camouflage with the character of Capybare.”
Peruvian police have previously dressed their officers as Marvel’s figure Spiderman, Captain of America, Thor and Black Widow to attack drugs.
