Pakistani players to be banned from hundreds after downloading IPL? ECB posts


In recent development, IPL team owners bought roles in four of the eight teams in a hundred. This means that IPL owners make up half of the new investors in a hundredth. The ECB confirmed that it has entered into exclusive contracts with eight partners to provide private investments in every hundred teams.

Although this brought a huge amount of revenue in the league, it also caused concern about the participation of Pakistani players in the league from now on. Executive director of England & Wales Crickket Board (ECB) has finally opened on this topic.

Gould assured that the participation of Pakistani players would not influence despite the huge impact of IPL teams on the hundredth. It should be noted that Pakistani players are forbidden to play in IPL because of political tensions between the two countries.

ECB breaks silence due to the including IPL teams in a hundred

ECB finally opened up on this issue and claimed to be aware of the issue. However, Richard Gould has confirmed that the participation of Pakistani players in the hundreds will not be limited by the inclusion of IPL teams.

“We are aware of this in other regions, but this will not happen here,” Gould quoted by ESPNCricinfo when asked about playing players from Pakistan to players.

Although BCCI has no word on this issue, but the problem can be seen in other leagues like SA20. In the first three seasons SA20, no team had Pakistani players. All six teams participating in the tournament owned by IPL teams.

There are very few participation in the IPL teams in IL T20 and MLC from Pakistan. However, hundreds saw no. From the top Pakistani players who appear, and the league wants to continue doing it forward.

Will Indian players participate in a hundredth?

Richard Gould also spoke about the participation of Indian players in the hundredth, because one hundred teams are now owned by IPL teams. Gould claimed that he would like Indian male players to play in the league in the future, but this is not currently possible because of BCCI’s attitude.

“As for the availability of Indian players, this is not appreciated with our plans. The BCCI position was very clear. At some point we would love to see Indian players come and play in England,” Gould.

“We see them at the moment in bilaterals, and in fact a lot in the county crisis. But this is not something we are predetermined through this procedure,” he added.

Indian male players should not play in the T20 leagues and a hundred abroad by BCCI. However, the player can play after withdrawing from the Indian domestic cricket. Indian players are allowed to participate in first -class and 50 tournaments abroad.

IPL teams that have roles in a hundred

Four IPL teams recently bought roles in teams. These investors are RPSG Group (owners of Lucknow Super Giants), Sun TV Network Limited (owners of Sunrizs Hyderabad), Reliance Industries Limited (Mumbai Indian) and GMR Group (co-owners Delhi Capitals).

RPSG Group, Sun TV Network Limited, Reliance Industries Limited and GMR Group have invested successful offers for Manchester Originals, Northern Superchargers, oval Invincibles and Southern Brave.

Although the ECB was successful in acquiring new investors in the league, it will also help to open the highly lucrative Indian market for the league.
