MSNBC -ova Rachel Maddow with staff reduced in a liberal network

MSNBC Star Rachel Maddow will lose most of its staff as part of a network production, Fox News Digital confirmed.
The Maddow team is expected to be reduced in April after completing the broadcast of five nights a week as part of MSNBC’s temporary coverage for the first 100 days on his duties of President Trump. The “Rachel Maddow Show” will then return to Monday only, and the arrangement that has made the most powerful host of the network, despite its exalted salary.
A large part of the staff that was released also worked on the “The Alex Wagner Show”, now a long -lasting program that has previously taken over Maddow’s place at 9:00 pm on Tuesday to Friday, when “The Rachel Maddow Show” only emits Monday. “It’s inside Jen Psaki” will take its place in the renovated programming of MSNBC, with Maddow-Wagner employees released.
Maddow’s oldest manufacturers were spared, and the net was invited by the network to re -sign in open positions. MSNBC does not take into account these “widespread release”, and resources are diverted to support for new programs and priorities.

On Monday night, Maddow openly admitted that release could influence her show while denying MSNBC’s treatment towards his employees, saying they were “really spent through a breakthrough.”
“Dozens of manufacturers and employees, including some who are among the most experienced and most prominent and most famous and most popular manufacturers in the building, faced release, are invited to re -apply for new jobs,” Maddow said.
“This has never happened in this scale this way when it comes to changes in programming, probably because this is not the right way to treat people, and is ineffective and unnecessary, and somehow drops the bottom from whether or not people are or not people Or I don’t feel like this is a good place to work, so we mostly don’t do things, “she continued.
Maddow added: “Maybe all our people, including most of the people currently in the air in the air, may be all of a job here, and I hope they do it, but in the meantime, they have been entering this type of tin, Anxiety and discoboles are outside the scales at a time when this job is already further stressful and difficult. “
However, very little on MSNBC has a job safety Maddow, who was allegedly negotiating amazing wages of $ 25 million last year.

Maddow also offered full defense of her former colleague Joy Reid after MSNBC canceled “Reidout”.
“I am 51 years old. I have been employed by the age of 12. And I had so many different types of jobs, you wouldn’t believe me to have told you. But in all the jobs I had, in all the years I am alive, there is no colleague for which I had more affection and more respect than Joy Reid, “Maddow said.
“I love everything about her. I learned so much from her. I am so much more to learn from her,” she continued. “I don’t want to lose her as a colleague here at MSNBC, and personally, I think it’s a bad mistake to let her go through the door. It’s not my call, and I understand that, but I think that.”
Maddow called him “nervous” for the net to cancel the “Two Non-white hosts” shows in his work day programming, as well as “Katie Phang Show” over the weekend.
“And it feels worse than bad, no matter who replaces them,” Maddow said. “It feels unspeakable, and I don’t defend it.”

While Maddow noted that Wagner would stay with the net as a political analyst, she did not mention that Reid’s time frame was filling up Symona Sanders-TownsendMichael Steele and Alicia Menendez, two of which are black, and one is Latina, all of them currently co -organized the weekend program. Phang also remained with the net as a legal correspondent.
New positions on MSNBC are expected to be available to employees before they have been publicly published. MSNBC release come in a difficult time in the news industry, such as CNN, Los Angeles Times and Washington Post also recently reduced the number.
