Mexican officials coordinate patrols with Americans due to the stimulus for the border security

Pentagon announced coordinated patrols on Wednesday with a Mexican army on both sides of the US-Mexican border, as Trump’s administration continues to implement a strong security border policy.
The announcement, published on Wednesday by the US Ministry of Defense (DOD), noted that the General of the US North Command Gregory M. Guillot and Mexican General Ricardo Trevilla Trejo recently met “to discuss cooperation on security along Mexico and US border.”
“The engagement has resulted in the formulation and signing of a common statement of understanding of associate activities along the border,” the statement continued.
“General Treville and General Guillot agreed to carry out coordinated patrols on its side of the border, increase the division of information and establish methods for immediate communication,” Pentagon added.

Dod also noted that the agreement “emphasizes that every country will respect the sovereignty of another.”
“Both leaders expect their agreement to serve further conversations and coordination in more detail at different levels to ensure the border security,” the statement concluded.
