Max Verstappen reacts that bookmakers do not choose as a favorite for the title F1 2025 F1

Max Verstappen He finds “no reason” to watch his competitors after the bookmakers put McLaren’s Lando Norris ahead of him in the predictions of the F1 2025 season. McLaren managed to win the constructor championship last year, and Norris finished second in the rankings.
The prediction of bookmakers for the F1 2025 season has recently fallen with Lando Norris this year marked as a favorite, given his performance in the second half of last year. He won several races and the team won the championship of its first constructor since 1998.
Responding to this, Max Verstappen, who dominated the network of 2022 and 2023, mentioned that he was more focused on himself. He also discovered his aversion to gambling (as quoted by GPBlog):
“First of all, I don’t like to gamble. But that’s fine,” Verstappen said. “We just have to focus on ourselves. There is no reason to look at others. We know we have to work on the car and we will do that.”
Red Bull recorded a lack of performance last year that the season progressed. While Max Verstappen was able to win his fourth consecutive driver championship, this was solely because of his early victories and extremely consistent performance despite the lower -results car.
In the meantime, his teammate at the time Sergio Perez, he suffered anger from weak results and terminated the contract in 2025.
The team came down to third place in the rankings, which is the worst of 2021.
Max Verstappen speaks positively about his new Red Bull teammate 2025
Shortly after the team broke off Perez’s contract, they announced signing Liam Lawsonwho was driving for VCARB as a replacement of Daniel Ricciard from the American Grand Prix onwards.
Lawson had a strong background in races with very successful points in the junior series, including the Japanese Super Formula and Formula 2 series, after completing them in second and third place. He had previously been driving for Alphatauri in the 2023 season, replacing Ricciardo for a few races after his fracture during the Dutch GP of the weekend of that year.
Max Verstappen, looking in his work with Kiwi this year, mentioned that he “deserves” his blow to Red Bull.
“We saw each other on the photographers,” he said (via F1). “I’m sure it will be okay – I saw Liama growing throughout the junior team and he fully deserves his shot with the team.”
“I’m excited to work together and have a great season again.”
Although Max Verstappen would surely look forward to chasing his fifth title, it could be a difficult task given the team performance at the end of the 2024 season. They say McLaren and Ferrari are dominant on the network, in addition, and Adrian Newey is no longer part of the Red Bull for the first time in almost two decades, the team would face new challenges this year.
