The Karami family, Sunni from faith, produced three Lebanese prime minister during the ugliest times in the country.

Within the second of the most prominent and experienced political dynasties in Lebanese modern history.

This film tells the story of the Sunni Muslim family of Karami from another Lebanese city, Tripoli, whose leaders were prime minister in unprecedented 11th occasions. Abdul Hamid Karami was Lebanon’s second prime minister, assumed his duty in 1945. His son Rashid has held a duty eight times in his career that ended with his assassination in an explosion of a helicopter in the 1987 mid -mecopter. His brother Omar Karami held a duty for two terms, but fell down from Grace after Rafik Hariri was killed in an attack on the road in February 2005.

The new generation now wants to continue the legacy of the dynasty, led by Faisal Karami. But the future of their country can be determined by as many global forces as only regional geopolitics in the Middle East.
