Jiohotstar is launched with top -notch content but without free IPL streaming for fans
Jiostar, a new shared investment formed by the connection of Viac18 and Star India, announced on Friday (February 14th) to launch Jiohotstar, as the company combined Jiocinema and Disney+ Hotstar Streaming platforms to take the party to the next level.
Jiohotstar provides a wide range of content, including nearly 300,000 hours of fun, live sports and more, with the aim of improving the user viewing experience. However, Indian fans will be disappointed as Jiohotstar will not offer the free current of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

This current platform works on the hybrid subscription, which means that users will have to pay access to premium content. Previously, Jiocinema provided free IPL streaming after providing digital rights for five years, but now fans can only flow two minutes.

According to the company’s statement, Jiohotstar offers a series of subscription plans, starting at 149 RS, and existing Jiocinem and Disney+ Hotstar subscribers will be able to easily switch to a new platform and continue with subscriptions.
