Hearts 3 – 1 St Mirren

Calem Nieuwenhof marked his first start in almost a year by scoring the amazing goal, as the hearts came behind to beat St Mirren 3-1 in Tynecastle and climbed the first six William Hill Premiership for the first time this season.
The Australian midfielder scored a key equator against the same opponents in Jambos’ victory of the Scottish Cup in Paisley just over two weeks ago when he left the bench since March 2 last year.
And Nieuwenhof was again a whip of the saints as he twisted home a nice end from 20 meters in the 63rd minute to mock his side in front, after a teenage teammate James Wilson canceled Mikael Mandran’s opener for visitors.
Replacing Kenneth Vargas’s extra goal limited the hard victory taken by Jambos-Koji were the bottom of the 22th December-December friend and within five points of the third-placed Aberdeen.
Hearts head head Neil Critchley has made three changes from the side that started winning Sunday 2-1 in St Johnstone, as Sander Cartum got his first start since joining in January, and Gerald Taylor and Niewenhof both entered their first starts after a long-term release of the injury.
St Mirren was not changed from the side, which began a 2-0 victory on Saturday on Saturday.
Friends started aggressively and generally prevented their hosts to generate any rhythm in the early stages. When Hearts eventually entered a threatening position in the 28th minute after a great passage from Lawrence Shankland to release Wilson, Saints defender Richard Taylor returned to make a great savings in the box.
Visitors left in the 38th minute when Mandron ran home and the loose ball came out of six meters after Declan John’s Volley from Ryan Alebios was blocked by the defender Hearts Michael Steinwander.
The saints were again threatened in the time of stopping the first half, when Mandron embarked on a long throw of Killian Phillips toward the goal, but was held by Craig Gordon.
Friends were worthy of their interval and perhaps surprisingly that they – not hearts – made two changes to the start of the second half, while Elvis Bwomono and Toyos Olusany replaced Alebios and Jonah Ayung.
Paisley men had an additional chance of extending the lead after re -launching, and Taylor left only wide from Ivan’s corner, before Olusany refused Gordon.
The heart, offering a little, got the level in the 56th minute when James Penrica delivered the delivery on the left, did not solve Taylor, who sliced his clearance, which fell for Wilson, who controlled him on Bedra before inserting Zach Hemming from six meters.
Niewenhof then turned the exalted final processing to the game in favor of his part. The Saints Phillips midfielder is shown a red card for a strong air challenge on Jamie McCart in the 70th minute, although it was demolished on the yellow after checking VAR. Vargas sealed the victory with a touch deep in the added time.
