Gervont Davis Eyes Mega-Borba Trio: Garcia, Lomachenko and Stevenson
Gervont Davis says he is willing to fight Ryan Garcia, Vasily Lomachenko or Shakura Stevenson after defeating Lamont Roach this Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Ryan Garcia is the best of the three in terms of money that tank can earn. It is much more popular than Shakura and Lomachenka, and the two had already fought two years ago. It was the biggest day of salary in the career of Tanka. However, Garcia’s arrangement 2025 is reserved firmly in the fight against Roland ‘Rolly’ Romera on May 2. And a rematch with Devin Haney in October.
Garcia, Loma, Shakur
The WBA Tank Davis champion (30-0, 28 ko) states that he cannot choose a certain name from the three he would like to fight the following, but thinks that everyone would be “big” fighting. Promotor Matchroom Eddie Hearn seemed to be desperate that the tank next faced Shakur, and is expected to continue to push.
IBF champion Vasily Lomachenko would be easy to make, but his situation is uncertain. It can be withdrawn instead of continuing to fight.
Stephen A. Smith: “Why is that struggle, Lamont Roach? What did he deserve to be in the ring with you? You have Ryan Garcia as he says when he returns to the ring, he wants you. You have Lomachenka, which people talk about, they should be in the ring. Of course, Shakur Stevenson.
“Many people talk about him and will you fight him. What do you see in the meaning of the ring, which you will appear with, assuming that you win Saturday night, for which most people assume that they will happen. Who do you see in a big fight against you, fight for you?”
Gervont Davis: “All these guys. I would say a certain name. Sharing the ring with all these guys would be big. It’s a world champion himself. He’s in weight and dares to be great. We fought before. So, it’s history in that. Two guys try to be great.”
Smith: “Many people talk about your background and how familiar you are with each other. How well do you know it on a personal level in terms of your association through the ranks regarding your boxer career?”
Tank Davis: “We have appeared through boxing together. We had similar friends in a boxer world. We fought before. So, I’m familiar with his style of fighting. Last year I have struggled with him. So I don’t know, but it’s okay to have someone from the area. I’m from Baltimore [and he’s from Maryland]. It’s okay that we both go into the ring and share a ring at the Pro. “
