Setzer thanked the Mayo Clinic for working with him for his treatment, wrote: “Fortunately, I have the best hospital in the world down the block from me.”
“I know I’ll win this, it will only pass for a while. I love you all,” he concluded.

Setzer, 65, rose to fame in the 1980s with his band, Stray Cats, playing Rockabilly inspired in the 1950s.
Their debut album, “Stray Cats”, has introduced two hit singles, “Stray Cat Strut” and “Rock This Town”.
After the group was dissolved in 1984, Setzer went Solo and later formed the Brian Setzer Orchestra in the 1990s, with 17 Big Band Ensemble.
