2023. Candidate Donald Trump ran for president like someone who cares about an average worker in America. But during his first month in power, he fell on his heels for the Billionaire class and forgot the people who chose him. From the very beginning, Prime Minister handed over our Government to the richest man on the planet, Elon Musk, and gave him access to all our most sensitive, most sensitive, personal information so that Musk could use that exclusive approach to make even richer.
Worse, Trump and Musk launched a dizzying series of attacks on low and medium -sized workers, clearly that this download of our government will leave our Government even more powerless than they were before.
And it’s not just a musk – Trump surrounded himself with a billionaire band who could no longer be in contact with the daily experience of most Americans. The federal minimum wage has been the same since 2009: $ 7.25. Sixty -two percent of Americans support a minimum wage increase at $ 15 because they agree if you do a full -time job, you should not live at or below the poverty level.

You know who’s disagreeing? Trump and his billionaire cabinet. His newly confirmed Scott Bessent Defense Minister – a net worth $ 521 million – made it clear during a certificate hearing that he believes that workers do not deserve a raise in a shameful low national salary.

It only took a week to make Trump set his sights destroying the unions, where many workers join to negotiate for higher salaries and better working conditions. Trump’s first goal was the agency responsible for protecting the rights of workers, the National Labor Committee (NLRB).
The NLRB conducts the election of the Union, explores the allegations of dishonest work practices and protects workers from exploiting their employers, and all of them rage billionaires like the founder of Amazon Jeff Besos and Male. NLRB cannot work with less than three of its five members. So what did Trump do? He was paralyzed by firing a member of the NLRB Gwynne Wilcox, which remained for another three years in her term. With only two members, the committee has become completely without a tooth and is unable to order the parties to pay medication or recognize the union.
But it is certainly not surprising, with the Musk who is in charge. Musk always hated workers. He did this very clear, directly declaring “I disagree with the idea of the union”, and successfully fought for teeth and nail to block Tesla’s workers to ever form one.
Tesla is the only main American car manufacturer whose workers do not represent the union, which is why they are worse. Tesla employees make up about 30% less than workers in GM -ui Ford, who united through UAW. Even before Trump killed NLRB, Musk companies were a subject of 24 investigations over alleged breach of work. He has now endured the harassment of his workers for free.
We know what follows because Trump spent the first month on his duties, performing a radical plan for the surrender of the Government of the billionaire. It’s called Project 2025, and this anti-Raddanian, a pro-corporative plan, inspects what is ahead.
The 2025 project has outlined all the requirements of a project contract, which protect well-paid unions ‘jobs and the abolition of Davis-Bacon, which ensures that building jobs, using taxpayers’ dollars, pay for their salary to construction workers.
Worse, Project 2025 calls to limit when workers get overtime pay only when they work more than 80 hours in two weeks. If you work 60 hours a week and 20 next week, you will not get overtime that you earned in the first week.
Trump and Musk also spent their first weeks on duty relentlessly demonizing federal workers. These are people who examine our food to make sure they are safe, provide medical care to veterans, manage social security and process passports. Four out of five federal workers live and work outside the DC area. Before confirmed, the director of the Russ Vought Management and Budget Office said, “We want to put [federal workers] in trauma. ”

The biggest insult to workers will be a giant tax and a cost that Trump and the Republicans of Congress go through Congress. It reduces taxes for billionaires, millionaires and corporations and paying these tax divisions, Republicans will stifle programs that help workers of the minimum wage and their families, such as Medicaid.

Medicaid pays most of the beds for elderly homes in the country, where parents of diligent Americans spend their last days. These beds will disappear for the elderly houses, and working families will face bankruptcy, having to take over all the costs of expensive acute care for their loved one.
All these attacks on workers who take place at the same time are not a great coincidence. Trump has decided to strengthen the ruling class – billionaires, large corporate executives, the financial company Titans – and the protection and services of the bowel and services for everyone else.

Musk does not care about helping working people because his priority uses his newly purchased power to make money over his government control. He used his role in the White House to get a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendr Modi so he could talk about opening a Tesla factory in India and shipping jobs abroad.

He switched off the consumer protection office so that X could turn into an unregulated application for payment. He destroyed USAID to give China, where he produces half of his cars, more power on the world stage. Not surprisingly, Musk has increased $ 130 billion from the election.
Trump may have run like someone who cares about regular people, but he manages to be obsessed with one, a unique idea: stealing a worker to enrich a very, very rich and corporate class. Every day, Americans see more evidence of Trump’s blind loyalty to members of his own billionaire and abandoning his working class voters who supported him last November. The evidence agrees and everything is impossible to ignore.
