Champion Trophy: England chooses Jamie Overton for the Aphganistan Sea match | Current news

Jamie Overton will go aside England for a feature trophy match against Afghanistan instead of injured Brydon Carse.
Carse is off for the rest of the tournament with a complaint of the toes, so that colleague Seamer Overton will play in Lahore on Wednesday, live on Cricket Sky Sports (9:00 first ball).
England knows that the victory over Afghanistan, and then South Africa will secure progress in the semifinals on Saturday, but defeat in any game will see them eliminated in the group stage.
Jos Buttler’s side lost in Australia in its opening while their opponents successfully chased the ICC 352 ICC Tournament under the lights after they lost their throw earlier during the day.
Since Rosa is a potentially factor in the same place on Wednesday, England may seek if Flip Coin wins this time.
Buttler said Sky Sports: “It’s always a bit of a guess with a dew, but she made a big change the other night, and the ball slid significantly in another ubac.”
The English opener Ben Duckett best achieved a record trophy inings of 165 years, only to end up in a loss team while Australia triumphal with 15 reservations balls, thanks to the mostly undefeated century Josh Inglis born in Leeds.
Buttler added: “There were great positive results with a baton – Duckett’s inings were extraordinary – and the other guys would take confidence from playing.
“With the ball, it’s about finding a way to build pressure. When we encouraged the scoring rate, we got prizes with the Wickkets, so can we be consistent longer?”
Watch England against Afghanistan live on Sky Sports Cricket and Sky Sports Main Maning from 8.30 on Wednesday (9:00 the first ball).
