The headquarters of engineer John Wood Group left the current effect after admitting that he had misinterpreted his professional qualifications.
A list of a list in the UK, whose share price collapsed last week, said his committee accepted the resignation of Arvind Balan in a statement published on the stock market, hours after the Financial Times questioned him about his qualifications.
The company said the Balan gave “an incorrect description of its professional qualifications in various statements in the public domain.”
Balan said: “Unfortunately, I have made a sincere control over the description of my professional qualifications as an authorized accountant instead of a certified practice [sic] accountant.
“I still believe in the long -term potential of the company and its people. My decision is based on minimizing distractions in this very crucial time with our investors and lenders. “
The price of the company’s shares fell 64 percent in the past week after reporting on Friday that there were “material” weaknesses in its management and said that its trade effect was worse than expected.
