Air Canada to continue flights for Israel this summer


Air Canada says he will continue flights for Israel In June, a year and a half after he stopped the trips to the region in the middle of the Israel-Hamas war.

With a fragile truce, the largest airplane in the country said in an update of travel that four direct flights in the environment per week from Toronto to Tel Aviv would start on June 8th.

Another return flight from Montreal at one week is scheduled to start in August.

Air Canada says he has conducted “extensive security examinations”, including conversations with the government authorities and other airlines that return to Israeli airspace.

Two US carriers are planning to revive the service in the region, and United Airlines will head to Tel Aviv on March 15, and Delta Air Lines 1. April 1.

Air Canada suspended flights for Israel after the outbreak of the war between Israel and Hamas in October 2023, briefly continued last April before stopping them again after Iran’s attack.
